The “Build Your Own” Moulding Sander is a cost-effective solution for sanding trim and moulding with precision, without losing the intricate details. With a custom arbor along with our sanding mop sheets, this system delivers exceptional results, perfect for small or medium shops.
Features:
- Custom Arbor System: Sanding mop sheets are stacked to create a 7″ moulding sander head for efficient profile sanding.
- Adjustable Bracket Assembly: Fully adjustable to the height required.
- Quick Grit Changes: Easily switch between Sanding Heads for different grits. Additional Sanding Heads, and Moulding Sander paper refills are available to purchase.
- Motor Compatibility: Requires a minimum of 1/2 HP motor with 1725-1750 RPM (motors can be sourced locally or purchased through us).
- Sanding Options: Available in solid or split 80g 120g, 180g, 220g or 320 grits:
- 120g for hardwood
- 180g for medium woods like MDF or birch
- 220g for softwoods
Included:
- 3″x5/8″ pulley for motor attachment (or 3″x1/2″ if requested)
- Bracket assembly for easy mounting on a base
