The system is composed of a composite tubeand cast aluminum base.The upper insert features a 360° swivel tie off for attachment of up to threeperson fall arrest systems, when used in conjunction with a 900 lb.. MAF(Maximum Arrest Force) fall arrest device.The composite tower is inserted into a cast aluminum vase that can be pinnedin place to any one of the various base plates. It may be used with a numberof different weld-on or bolt-on mounting bases (see below). May also be usedwith the adjustable anchor clamp.This portable anchorage system can be used on top of transformers and otherareas where walking/working surface hazards may be present.Certified as a 3-person fall arrest anchorage as per OSHA Section 1910.66 &ANSI Section A10.14.TFAT Telescopic Fall Arrest TowerThe Pelsue TFAT-14C and TFAT-11A Telescopic Fall Arrest Tower is constructedof structural aluminum and incorporates several steel and engineered plasticcomponents. The tower is designed as an accessory component to the Pelsuemodel FT-C70 UniLite Fall Arrest Tower. The model FT-C70 possesses acomposite upper section (500573-BD1) which can be inserted into its standardbase (500019-001) to create a 70” high anchor point or can be inserted intothe TFAT-14C to create up to a 14’ high anchor point. The TFAT-14C can onlybe used in conjunction wtih part 500573-BD1 composite fall arrest tower andis not rated for usage on its own, or with any other upper insert.The base plates shown provide multiple attachment options for the various fallarrest towers.
