A popular & versatile contractor-grade Stanley flat base spokeshave. It is great for the shaping & smoothing of irregular curved wood surfaces, the shaping of chair seats, legs, & other curved wood details. The blade is 2-1/8″ wide & rests at a 25° angle. The spokeshave has two adjustable screws which provide blade adjustment for the depth of cut & for the thickness of the shavings. One of our most popular & sought-after spokeshaves! Note: Honing is recommended before use.
